"BGS Bright Spark is a very exciting mare. She is a modern blood type with traditional Irish breeding. She has 3 lovely paces and is a careful scopey jumper. She has had a well rounded education beginning her competition career in the prestigious young event horse series known as the YES league as a 5 yr old. In this league she showed her talent and placed 3rd in the RDS final. She is now jumping at 1.20m level and placed 4th in 1.15m at the Spring Tour in JAG equestrian. This mare could be produced in 6yr old event horse classes or could progress in the show jumping ring in the 6yr age classes. She loves to jump and would suit a professional, competitive amateur or young rider to produce an exciting young horse ready to take on any discipline and potential to continue to progress up the levels.

She is very well bred with 70.3% TB blood, by BGS Ocean View, a traditionally bred stallion by Grange Bouncer, dam Power Blade, grandam Cruising. He is Grade A jumper and jumped at 1.50m placing 6th in Millstreet International. He is also the sire of Michael Jung’s Kilcandra Ocean Power who is currently the top ranked 8yr old in the world on the eventing circuit. Her dam is a full thoroughbred by Great Palm and her full sister Ballygrangans Dolly evented and won the junior 2* at the prestigious Tattersalls International Horse Trials and was on Irish European junior team."
